Toyota Yaris Facelift Vs. Changan Alsvin
Just few days ago, Pakistan received the facelift of the Toyota Yaris. Earlier, we did its comparison with Honda City Aspire; both were Japanese brands. But this time, we’ve got Changan Alsvin, and this one is going to be an interesting comparison as one is a Chinese VFM deal, and the other one is the resale king.
Let’s look at the variants and pricing of both cars we’ll compare: These are the top of the line variants of each model.

Unless you are a investor or just care about resale, Changan Alsvin is a better deal in 4.5 million PKR.
How?
Alsvin’s top-variant cost 4.5 million PKR, while Yaris’s top variant cost 6.3 million PKR. Now, Yaris do offer some extra goodies, but considering a 1.8 million PKR price gap, Alsvin sounds a better value-for-money deal.
Both cars comes packed with all the standard practical options, including, cruise control, 2 airbags, digital AC controls and CVT transmissions + sunroof in the Alsvin is another big edge!
Moving forward, the myth about Alsvin’ s build quality is not up-to-the-mark because of it’s Chinese origin is completely false. You might consider watching our owner review videos, all owners seem to be satisfied with built of Alsvin.
Yaris is also a good sedan by the Toyota, it’s reliable, built is solid and packed with essential options. But, when we set aside market considerations and focus solely on the value proposition in terms of price and features, Alsvin seems to be the best sedan that you can get for 4.5 million PKR.
Cabin
The design of the cabin is a personal preference; some might like Yaris’s, or some would prefer Alsvin’s cabin design. Honestly, the dashboard’s blue color accent near the AC grills in Alsvin looks better to our team.
